OBJECTIVE to celebrate the Launch of an event tech startup, EventSpace. The voice, tone, messaging and design of the event and event promotion must maintain a cohesive look and feel of the brand while still conveying the concept of a launch party. As with most start- ups budgeting was a creative process as well. All five events, including the private dinner cost less than $5,000 thanks to strategic partnerships.
Since the event industry is so diverse and EventSpace targets both event planners and event venues this launch party needed to be multifaceted. For this unique launch party we created five different events; creative female entrepreneurs (like the founders of EventSpace), networking for event professionals, event marketing tips for event planners, a bridal house and a brunch for the general public and fans of the company, wrapping up with a private dinner for investors and partners.
We survived SxSW 2018, the trend predictions, knowledge sharing and multiple sources of inspiration were inspiring, but completely overwhelming. It was clear that innovation and technology took center stage in almost all aspects. But we predict tech could take a decidedly different route than it has before, and trends will give a nod back to the basics.
