Better Than Good: Freelance Consultant

2016 - Present

  • Conducted consumer research, leveraged insight to create brand identity & brand standards

    Kombucha, SXSW, C3 Presents, The United Nations and Beach Road Designs

  • Tripled web impressions through Google Adwords and promoted keywords

  • Increased targeted Paid Traffic to site by 46%, and on track to increase direct
    targeted website users by 75% by the end of 2016

  • Increased email open rates by 23% with an average open rate of 36%

  • Managed all social media platforms; results included increase of 1,000 likes on
    Facebook, 2,500 followers on Instagram and 1,000 new followers on Twitter over the course of one year

  • Updated event planning timeline from a two month lead time to a 6-8 month timeframe while adding three innovative signature events in 2012

  • Prepared diversified fund raising plans to include high grossing signature special events, multiple third party events, marketing goals and objectives to achieve approved budget of $750,000 in four areas including: Mission, Laredo, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Austin

Alliance Safety Council: Director of Marketing + Special Events

  • ​Developed overall marketing and sales strategies, including advertising and online campaigns and promotions for multiple national programs and products
